The Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management (Honours) programme is a professional undergraduate programme designed to develop comprehensive knowledge of human resource planning, recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation management, labour laws, industrial relations, organizational behaviour, performance management and strategic human resource management. The programme integrates business management principles with modern HR practices to prepare students for leadership roles in organizations across diverse sectors.
Through classroom learning, case studies, presentations, HR simulations, industrial projects, research methodology and practical applications of human resource management concepts, students develop communication, leadership, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. The programme prepares graduates for careers in human resource management, corporate administration, industrial relations, consultancy, entrepreneurship, government services and higher education.

The Department of Commerce follows an industry-oriented and application-based teaching methodology through classroom lectures, case studies, HR simulations, seminars, presentations, industrial projects, research assignments and practical exercises. Students develop leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving and human resource management skills through real-world organizational case analysis, workforce planning activities and project-based learning.
