Programme Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Urdu (Honours) programme provides comprehensive knowledge of Urdu language, literature and literary criticism through the study of poetry, prose, drama and classical as well as modern literary traditions.

The programme develops language proficiency, literary appreciation, creative writing, analytical thinking and research aptitude while preparing students for careers in education, media, translation, publishing and public services.
